How I Found My Style Renovating My First Home

Creativity and art have always been a part of my life. It’s something my mom instilled in me when I was very young. We didn’t have a lot of money growing up, so we were forced to get creative when it came to the toys we were playing with, or the costumes we had for Halloween, etc. She always had some sort of craft or project that she was working on – and that she had created for us. Having limits and constraints, I think only helps to cultivate a more natural sense of creativity, especially at a younger age. The perfect Fall porch

I want to share some porch ideas that are SUPER EASY and can last throughout the fall season... 1. Start with the mats. We love layering mats and our Buffalo check goes with any of our doormats! Plus we just released our new Gratitude mat, which is available for pre-sale here. The first 25 to buy it will get it for just $25! 2. Next add some decorations. I love pumpkins for fall because they last through Thanksgiving. You can also add plants or anything else to fill the space. 3. Lastly, add a wreath. Decorating for the 4th of July!

  When I first started the Welcome Co., I simply wanted to add more options to the doormat market. I wanted to introduce styles to the space that made homeowners proud of their home (whether that be an apartment or first house) without breaking the bank. From my own experience I have found that decorating a home can seem overwhelming and expensive, however, porch decorating is anything but.  Decorating your front door space is manageable, affordable and an easy way to have some fun and express your creativity.
